No shit...Well, anytime you are looking to put someone on some fat trout from the San Juan, PLEASE let me know. I'm dying to catch a trout OTF. I'll gladly trade you some doves/turkeys/ducks/whatever.

I never used a fly rod or fished for trout before moving out here last January. I sold my bass boat before the move and bought some fly gear. I would like to head up into CO to fish some streams up there, but the San Juan is so close and such an amazing fishery that I've never fished anywhere else.

My first trout out of the river was a beautiful 18" rainbow last spring. I went the day after Christmas for an hour and a half and lost count of the 14-16" fish I caught.

I'm not sure it was a good idea to get introduced to fly fishing for trout on the San Juan Quality Waters. I'm spoiled for life. Let me know if you'd like to go, I'd be happy to head out there with you.

Just letting you know now...I'd like to go.

We need to have a New Mexico Chapter of SCDucks meet & greet & fish after turkey season. You plan on getting out and chasing any birds this spring? Speaking of fishing streams, there are a lot up in the Santa Fe that I'd like to fish. It'd be cool to catch some Rio Grande Cutthroats and then head into the Gila and catch some Gila trout too.
