    Default Tomorrow?

What do yall think? Sleep a little later and be fully awake for church or try to shoot a bird or two and take the risk of falling asleep in church?

The good lord is a duck hunter too, he won't mind one bit if you spend your morning enjoying his creations from time to time rather than singing the doxology from a pew.

Your preacher may not feel the same way.
Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.

    Arise, kill, eat.

I like the screen name. It takes a man to willingly admit that.

A church is a building or structure to facilitate worship.

You can still worship in a duck blind or a tree stand

And then you don't have to be around the hypocrites

Every single person in that church is just like you... A sinner. Let the Good Lord render judgement and sort em out when he feels the time is right.

The difference between "THEM" and "I" is "I know I'm a sinner, and am not perfect in any way shape or form"

They on the other hand, think differently they ARE perfect and could do no wrong and will pass judgement on you in a flippin heartbeat.

But they are getting better, at least they will nod their head and not hide anymore when you see them in the liquor store

Cause if ya only take one he'll drink all your beer.

If you don't think you're a hypocrite too, then you're mistaken. We all say one thing and do another. There was a point in all our lives when we were slaves to sin. The most unloving thing you can't do is write those folks off who don't know Him yet as sinners with no hope for salvation. Love thy enemy.

I try to encourage people to concern themselves less with what other people do, and more about what you do. After all, that's the only thing you can control. Ya never know the Lord may need you at church on a particular Sunday to meet a particular person that needs your help.

And you never know when The Lord may bless you with a single drake black duck to look over your spread.

I was raised in a pew and have always enjoyed hearing my father preach a sermon, but I've told him for years, I see God and his creations out there much more than I do with a hymnal in my hand.

I try not to knock structured faith, but personally see no point in it.

I don't need to be surrounded by folks to spend time with God, I'll do just fine on my own, in awe of his morning masterpiece across the eastern sky.

I say, go out and kill a few ducks, he knows and understands.....after all, he created the birds, surely it fires him up to watch them twist and flip over a tree line, as much as it does me.
