    Default High Sierra Golden Trout

Heading to the sierras for an 8 day backpacking/flyfishing trip for some goldens aug 17. Its a long shot that anyone would happen to be familiar with this particular species in this particular area, but thought i'd ask while i'm researching. Anyone?.... Anyone?.... Bueller?

Can't give any info, no experience with goldens but I'm green as heck with envy. That should be a trip of a lifetime.

Maybe golden trout would be when you ate corn.

Ive caught stocked goldens before they get big and look like a chinook does body wise.

Goldens are actually a strain of Rainbows. They'll eat almost any fly that has a yellow body. A California Coachman Trude is a good choice.
