besides you don't have to shoot it to get the neck collar off........

Just get you a sack of bread or two and start feeding it until it is so close you can jump on top of it. Once on top secure the bird then remove said collar and leg band. When complete stand up releasing the bird back into the "wild", no harm no fowl (no pun intended ) just a band or two

Same guy also has a 216" whitetail on the wall, a Mexican mallard and a pile of elk sheds that he and Tuff Hedeman got when they ran bulls into the snowbanks and cut their horns off with a sawzall..

    It used to be Relentous......lol.

I assume he's relentous on ducks.
Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.

If people value getting a band that way, then I guess they just won't be able to understand.

Technically its not a real word. Spelling is not a strength in the james island school system. But since you asked it means relentless. Im sure with your education you no how to look it up in a dictionary and at the same time look up how to spell your gay ass name

I know what relentless means. I was just curious to know what relentlous meant. As far as my name, it's what my kids called shrimp when they were little. As far as your feathers getting ruffled, your nuts must have not dropped yet. Good luck with that one.

    Back to the collar band.

Collar bands in SC are used to identify local populations of geese.

These bands aide the biologists at SNWR in keeping tabs on the the St. James Bay geese that visit, who incidentally happen to be the only migrating flock of Canada geese in SC. There has been lots of interest in this dwindling flock of migrators. Enough to warrant a study and satellite tracking of some of the migrators.

So, with that said....I hate resident geese. Kill them all, by any means necessary, any time of the year...it doesnt bother me.

I would have to question your judgement and raising to kill that one banded goose by shooting, (out of season) over the backs of the other nasty, invasive fuckers. In season, the gloves come off.

We killed a collar band several years ago on a impoundment in the lowcountry. Turned out to be from some study that Clemson was doing on them.

    Go figure

Start by backing truck close, slowly open kennel door while throwing bread, give the girl a quick "back", then act like the dog is doing something bad as she returns with your prize...Boom....done and done
