Birds almost blew the trees over with all the gobbling this morning. Called in 2 pairs of strutting jakes, and witnessed 2 toms fight. Finally, about 8:00, two big toms came running in, and stopped at 45 yards. They hung up for about 10 minutes, and I realized that was all I was going to get. I had to shoot at 46 steps, but 3-1/2" Hevi-shot 5's are the real deal.(comp-n-choke XXX) One of my most entertaining and exciting hunts ever.
22 lbs. 2 beards (9-1/2" and 2") 1-1/4" spurs.
My first multiple beard.

A member at the club dropped a 19 pounder with 3 beards and 1 1/4 spurs this morning. Probably hit him with a car.
