    Default Tennessee Strippers

Have any of you guys been to Tennessee, specifically behind Melton Hill Dam or Watts Bar? Got a trip planned in the next few weeks and just checking the conditions.

Same deal here. We are gonna check it out and just try to prepare for any situation. I know some guys that go regularly but their pretty tight lipped. From what I've heard its very hit or miss.

Right. The title of this post is very misleading.

FWIW, dont google "Tennessee Strippers" on your wife's computer a week before you are scheduled to go there for work.

My bad, I was so worried about spelling Tennessee right in front of the spelling bee champs, I totally looked over striper. That was very misleading. I am just trying to catch a fish, not any funk on my hang low.

May to June. Caught all of ours on live herring and bucktails. If i remember right i think we caught about 60 the first aftrnoon we were there most around 10lbs. PS dont go in your nice bass boat your afraid to eff up. 18ft beat up jon boat would be ideal.

Thanks for the input. We are taking a 16 foot jon instead of bass boat just because of that. If you don't mind me asking were you up against Melton Hill dam? Thats where we are planning on going. We are prepared to catch herring and have plenty of artifical baits. And were they running water? I have heard conflicting reports "they gotta running the water or you aint gonna catch a thing" or "it dont matter, they will still bite". Sorry for so many questions but thats a long way to ride and I would hate to leave something at home or waste a trip.

Went to a place in Memphis once, damn Chlorox bath didn't make my drunk ass feel clean. Tin-ert-C strippers are as rank as the football team from my experience.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.
