    Default Tomorrow 6-11-12

I have an offshore invite tomorrow with a guy, but I have only been out once in my life and don't want to go on a bad day. What do ya'll think about tomorrow's weather forecast? Will it be a safe day to go out? Will be heading out from Georgetown and planning to runout about 60 miles.

Winds out of the east the fish bite the least.
Winds out of the west the fish bite the best.

I would go anyway just to gain more experience always a learning experience

You're right Chuck, but I'm not worried about the biting, I just want to make sure that the weather isn't going to be too bad.......the guy that invited me is going, with or without me. I had one rough ride years ago and don't want to do that again.

3-4' in a 31 contender all day long. especially if you dont have your own rig. Its more then safe but maybe not super comfortable. In short GO
Seeing these soulless vanilla ice lookin Yankees on a bassboat is worse than watching a woman get her implants taken out. It's just wrong. Get back in your Lund and go back to infisherman.

You'll be fine...you know about 95% of the people I've seen get sick offshore ...whether it be people I know personally or random charters......have all talked themselves into getting sick!!! That shit is all in your head...

There might be 5 days out the "season" that you won't have a "rough" ride in a 31'...the person driving the boat will also tremendously impact how "rough" the ride out will be..

you can't fish from the house on the couch or from your computer screen...grab those lil bitty balls and go fishing!! The bite has been very good the last 10days

And FWIW, this is the forecast for the coordinates of GT hole....we use buoyweather.com it's a subscription site that's usually pretty fuckin spot on..esp within a 30hr window

I'd say don't go if you're that worried. If you think that much about it you WILL get sick. I understand that some just have it in them to get sick all the time. Had a buddy who used to commercial shrimp who puked for about 5 minutes every trip for years. I've had times where I felt far from normal with my head looking down cutting bait while breathing 99% diesel fumes, but all worries go away when the bait hits the water.
