Ya know, when some of us, like firemedic & myself, are riding around in our boats ther is enough water displacement to raise the water level a good 3 or 4 inches in the swamp.

It's not enough to simply tolerate the 2nd Amendment as an antiquated inconvenience. Caring for the 2nd Amendment means fighting to restore long lost rights.
Ran Risers Cut today and the water level was up higher than last week when I was there. Hopefully it'll stay up. Also, when I was putting in at 601 there were two older men putting in a wooden skiff with a 25hp on the back. Anyone else on the river see it?

To be the best that you can be in you life you must be willing to drop everything you love.

was 79.3 two sundays ago....talk about water flowing!.....last year's run, water was at 75.8 and everyone/everything got through with no problems.....looking forward to it!....will be on my way down next wed am
With all the rain that tropical thing dropped it should rise again! It won't stick around long though but will still be plenty high for the run.
