The 115hp motor turns about 5200 rpm and porpoises like nobodies business WAY before cavatation. The mount is one hole down from the top. 17 pitch prop. This is probably an easy question, just looking for a starting point.

have you tried moving weight up front? How far above the bottom is the cavitation plate? What kind of shape is the prop in?

I had a boat almost identical to that, mine was an 89 and it had a 120 on the back. It would dolphin nose like hell unless you had it trimmed out about perfect. Once you had it trimmed right it ran fine and would haul ass, but if you moved it a little bit it would go back to bouncing.

No tnt? Second from top seems high. Put the pin in the bottom and play with the trim.

When your running the boat at cruise where is the cavitation plate in relation to the water plane.

Also, I don't know but I'd think that motor should turn a few hundred more RPM's @ WOT. Any idea what it's rated for?

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

    I looked for you........you should hit 5750 @ WOT

Try a 15 prop and get your cavitation plate so that water is just splashing the top of it at cruise.

    Guy,

He'll want to change the name of your boat to something similar to what he wants to rename Highstrungs.
