    I posted this link on Facebook. I was called a racist by a black friend and the posts by other Democrat friends were shocking.

    One friend's response: "This is so petty. Who gives a shit where he was born. I do judge him on his merits, which is why I'll be voting for him again in November. I don't think you're racist, just closed minded. Merits: killed Osama, healthcare, didn't start dumb wars, isn't an idiot, etc."

    Another: "The qualification to be president = get elected. Which he did. Get over it."

    And another: "I'm not.a.Republican or.Democrat I.vote.for.the.best.candidate, and.when he ran for.president.he was the.best.candidate, his birth.certificate,his. Beliefs on.gay marriages doesn't bother me as long as he is.doing.what he is put in office 2do."

    I of course gave them facts and figures about his ineffectiveness and countered Obama's supposed "merits," but it doesn't matter to the sheeple.
