    going to the mountains and trying some trout/bass fishing what is the best lure to use thanks for the help

    Use this (with treble hooks, no doubt). It's a Series 100 Bandit Lure, and it's awesome on mountain rivers if you have the depth to run it. Otherwise use a soft plastic grub with a 1/0 hook, preferably Gamakatsu.


    At least I'm housebroken.

    Pack some spinners(small mepps and such) as well lots of both species have been caught on them!
