“… duckhunting stands alone as an outdoor discipline. It has a tang and spirit shared by no other sport—a philosophy compounded of sleet, the winnow of unseen wings, and the reeks of marsh mud and wet wool. No other sport has so many theories, legends, casehardened disciples and treasured memories.”
    --John Madson, The Mallard, 1960

He should have shocked the piss out of the fish and his ass would not be dead now. Guess that is all I needed to keep shocking the piss out of catfish.

Maybe they don't have the technology to shock the piss out of things in Hungary.

Maybe the Hungarians need to stick to the paprika business.

Thanks for the heads up Mirror! That was a good way to kill a little time on a Friday afternoon. What's new down in Hooterville? Fishing ever get to be worth a hoot? Been tearing the redfish up and the Spanish are finally showing up off the beaches around here. Still don't know when I am going to be able to make it down.

Doing pretty well with the catfish. Stevie caught 4 stripers Wednesday I believe it was. We are having some pretty good Mayfly hatches, but not a lot of fish under them.
I am pulling my pontoon out of the water this weekend in antisipation of my new baby. So in other words I am done fishing!!
Anybody need a pontoon boat for cheap??? Seriously...

Congrats on the baby. I would keep the boat if I were you. Once the baby gets here you will never be able to justify buying another one. Having our boat has been a great family thing. We haul the kids over to one of the barrier islands here almost every weekend and have a blast. Ya'll have a great weekend!
