Shocking Catfish - Eletrofishing

I know shocking the piss out of catfish is as illegal as it can be. As is shooting a deer with his head buried in a mountain of corn and bustin’ the hell out of some ducks in a corn pond , here in Georgia. These are not illegal in SC from what I hear, whereas shocking fish is. But what I am asking the wonderful people of SC Ducks is, is this immoral or just plain fun as hell. I just got back from shocking the piss out of some big assed catfish with some of my ingenious redneck buddies down on the river. I personally thought it was hilarious and equated it to using the secret codes on a video game, and we gave the fish to a gold-toothed democrat so he did not have to steal any thing to eat tonight. If we gave the fish to the Niagara’s couldn’t I feel like Robin Hood or something. The funniest thing I think I saw during the whole fish shocking thing was a state trooper on the river bank checking a fish trap, which is just as illegal as what I was doing.

i dont know anyone here that shocks catfish. shootin ducks over corn ponds isnt immoral and a deer over a corn pile isnt either. The big boy wont be eating the corn during the rut, he'll be chasing the doe that wants the corn. Corn ponds, more than anything else provide food for ducks which most places in sc dont have enough food for em. As for shocking catfish, it has no comparison to ducks in cornponds and deer over corn. They are in completely different categories.

its also immoral and illegal to drive over the speed limit, and certainly none of you fine outstanding citizens would be so ignorant of the law to do so.

I do believe that if a caveman or Jesus' diciples had the know how to shock-a-cat they would have done so also and laughed like ^&*^$^ about it.

But is legal on a fish count using the same practice and trust me they laugh like hell about it too.
