    Riva' ........ like D's said ...... do it right ...... either build up the transom for the 20" motor or sell the 20" and find a 15".

    The advantage to building up the transom is stopping excessive backwash when coming off plane, especially if having to 'chop' the throttle. Just make sure you build it up properly (aka strong).

    Back on topic the easiest would probably be to trade for a short shaft motor. Second to that would be to build up the transom if you have the knowledge and materials.

    Yeah, Tater fucked that one all to hell carry on.
