Default Am I Losing Enough Weight...

You all have heard/read me say it a bunch. Stay off the damn scales. Weight is not a measure of health. In this post Robb Wolf helps drive that point home and may help bring some of you back to basics on this journey...

Folks are forgetting or ignoring the protocol in the book. I do not want you focusing on weight! I want you taking photos, and measurements, I want you picking away at a performance goal. I want you sleeping 8-9 hrs per night in a pitch black room. I want you to know the difference between a mouth and a vacuum cleaner. If you can do those things, you will succeed. Period. If you choose to drive the boat your own way, focus on the scale, you will do neurotic shit and you will scuttle the effort.

All you need is a body built for discipline and a mind that can justify so much apparent self-abuse.

All of my measurements are getting bigger - except my waist.

In the beggining, it looked like my weinis was getting bigger, but my thighs are bigger now so I can't really tell. All I know for sure - before CF and paleo, no pregnant wife.... since CF and paleo, pregnant wife.

    Good stuff man!

That waist shrinking will slow as your core muscles start to develop.

Scales are for women. I eat right, lift hard and the rest takes care of itself. I'm still waiting to gain all this weight I was told would happen when I hit 40. I'm 44 now and haven't gained said weight.

Yeah but you're a petite little fella.

    Kind of spindly like.

Overall, I have gained a couple of pounds. Waist slimmer, less belly fat, adding muscle. Feel like a million bucks.

He ain't wrong, he's just different, and his pride won't let him do things to make you think he's right
