    Whether that's true or not he will be looking for a different career now. He won't be the first to end his career that way either. Grounding a ship is not smiled upon in that profession. Even if it was the navigator's mistake or an equipment failure that caused it the captain is fully responsible for his ship. His license are as good as gone.

    lots of issues with that ship, the voyage plan went into questionable water depth & obstructions, no abandon ship drill, the captain should have been the last to abandon ship. i can keep going.
