Okay... video geeks of America unite.

I am considering liquidating (i.e., selling) my Sony digital camcorder (DVC tape format) and getting a true HD (1080) capable model with flash memory. I've been looking at reviews, and there is a Panasonic that is in a reasonable price range, but apparently there are some Mac connectivity issues.

I would like any input from folks in here that are shooting HD videos and also editting them on an iMac.

Thoughts?
