LEE COUNTY, S.C. —
A South Carolina man has been arrested after authorities say he caused panic on social media.

The Lee County Sheriff's Office said Triston Wesley violated the conditions of his probation when he "caused some panic" on social media.

Authorities said Wesley made statements about going to churches to get money from them following his disagreement with the government over the garnishment of his wages.

He was arrested on April 4 and taken to the Lee County Sheriff's Office for an outstanding warrant from the South Carolina Department of Probation, Parole and Pardon.
