South Carolina wildlife officers have made an arrest in a case of hunting dogs killed, officials said Tuesday.
The South Carolina Department of Natural Resources said three beagles, called rabbit-hunting dogs, were reported shot and killed on Nov. 23, 2023, in the Dacusville area of Pickens County.
SCDNR officers arrived on the scene after the dogs' deaths were reported and collected evidence, officials said.
