The One
A lifelong dream happened.
As this hunt kept going, I was starting to wonder if I had a curse. We all came to realize lions were back in the range and the sheep had all but left, my guide got lyme disease, our restock of food and water was going to be a day late. Then it happened, we caught movement on a small mountain 2+ miles away, break out the big glass and decide to make a move. The band of rams thankfully bedded, and with 300 yards to go I realize I had broke loose my turret. Thankfully we were able to get within 302 yards, and after what felt like an eternity for him to stand up, I made the most emotional trigger pull of my life on a beautiful 10+ year old ram.
Blessed is an understatement, 3 more for 4.
