A few questions, if you will. I am trying to open up some areas in what is now a beaver pond, but stays wet with a barely defined flow through the center when there are no beavers. About 12 acres. It looks mostly like the first picture throughout. I've only made it to the corner marker on the other side once in four years.

Anyway how would one go about treating trees like in the second picture? How many hacks and what concentration on the gly? Can I effectively kill the stump on trees like this? (It was logged 15-20 years ago and all of the stumps grew back this way, mostly gum).
After treating can I cut above the hack to use for firewood? Am I gonna poison the beavers??
