Not yet, but planning to. Whenever I get another one, it will be insured from the get go.

The Dude is insured with Pet's Best. For $18 a month, I sleep a little better.

Of course he is a member of the BDM.... I heard a premium for a yella is well over $100 per month to provide insurance their safety.

Seriously, this is a good deal for the competition/hunting dogs. Though I'm sure someday there will be box to check on the form... "Is your dog a couch potato? Is it a working dog?"

It sucks to watch someone have to make a decision on whether or not to put their dog down based not on prognosis of a procedure/treatment but on finances.

Pet insurance helps. Having good credit also helps.

Pet insurance. What a novel idea.

Pffft. Makes no defference at my house. We're self insured. If one of my room mates, i.e., my wife's dogs or cats are ailing, she'll bring a banker to the clinic. Finances aren't even an object in here mind.

Case in point, $45 buck for a case (30, 4 oz. cans) of Paw Lickin Chicken for the kitties at two cans per day. For you geniuses out there, that works out to $90 a month. Those cats eat better than I do.

    How bout that for priorities.

sounds like toodles would have an accident at my house. If i knew my wife would go into withdrawls, i'd have killed her taco bell dog along time ago.
