a few words here!
Yes, I am a sponsor here at SC Ducks.
Do I sponsor to sell calls? No!
I sponsor this site because:
1. Jab and Rock are friends and I want to help
2. I like this site and the folks that are members
3. The atomosphere here is fantastic! Laid back, if you will
4. I am an Admin and Sponsor at TOS, which has a different approach, so I see the need for SC DUCKS

Now a few more words,
Few people know the connection between Marc Ackerman and myself. Marc is my best friend and lie a brother I never had.
There are several good/great callmaker in SC. Marc, Mike a guy in Florence and evem ol' Salty Vut hisself.
Over here in NC (btw I'm just across the line 45 mins. from Myrtle Beach) there is Allen Blivens, Tom Salter, Robbie McLamb, Chris Tester and a few more.
Callmakers are just that, callmakers. Some make calls one at a time with no two calls ever being the same. Others use jigs, duplicators or CNC machines.
A few will let you come to their shop, select the wood/materials and let you watch as they build you a "personal call". This call will be built and tuned just for you the customer.
Not what you may think, most callmaker are friends, know each other and talk to each other, most daily.
In you list of calls I would select Swamp Thing.
Have fun,
Bill Duncan,

Grover Knoll!!
I just saw this post. Do you know Grover? I have'nt seen him in years and the last time I was at his house he was'nt doing to good. I feel bad for not keeping up with him over the years. He helped us out years ago by putting us on some ducks. That was back when you could hunt in the afternoons upriver from his house.
