    anyone else other than budsdrinkinravinlanyards know how to make a lanyard???

    Here is a link to the thread Firecop posted a while back. Looks like a good cause to support, much better than paying Budsdrinkinginfrontofgreenjeanslanyards fine.

    I made the mistake of ordering a lanyard from Bud about 10 days before the season. I have yet to see it and he's told me twice that he's shipped it. Check's been cashed and I'm out a lanyard. That kid should come with a warning label.

    NOt to take anything away from Salty's post and link!

    Winn Tuck makes some good stuff also. It local made here in Rock Hill. He has stuff in a lot of stores around the state though.

    i ordered mine probably two weeks before the first split this season(check was cashed the day he got it) and got it the second day of the SECOND split.
    the lanyard looks good, but took it a month to get here

    i did one, look up "macrame" on google and it will show you how to braid like the winntuck ones.

    They are easy to make. Just go to your local army/navy store and get you some 550 cord, whatever color you want. I use a different knot than SCTIMBER but there is no right or wrong one. Get your cord and pm me or email me and I will put together some dirsctions for the way I make mine.

    Here's another option. Search Ebay for "Flyway Supply" or "Echo495". I just bought two lanyards from him for $10.00 each and $3.00 to ship. Really well made and very reasonable.
