    I know nothing of these animals except for what I've seen on TV, but this one looks to be one bad mutha and I would hate to be on its bad side.

    I'd like to hunt cape buffalo again, good time. I never felt in danger during buffalo hunts, I took my son with me for cape (10 at the time) and he's been around water buffalo in Argentina (8 or 9 for that hunt) while hunting other animals. I'll make it to Australia one day.

    They can definitely ruin your day if given the chance, they're some big animals.

    If you've not read Death in the Long Grass, by Peter Hathaway Capstick, it's got a fantastic section about Cape Buffalos. Black Death. Great read about big game Africa animals and hunting.
