    Default Marine Canvas

I need to have some curtains and wings made. Nordan and Foster in West Columbia has closed due to a death.

Who have you used? Who do I stay away from? Prefer referrals from actual experience.

    Thank you in advance.
Honey...I'll do it after the season is over.

If you don't mind the drive, Sharp's Custom Canvas in Gtown.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

Chris is good people. He does quality work, not cheap but it's right. Replaced my cushions, bolsters and Eisenglass last year. He did the cover for my old Pioneer and replaced the top on my old Mako years ago, never an issue with any of it.

That's a great trade for a young man to learn that's not interested in going to college.
Everyone I use and know of, has all the work they can do and out 6 weeks or more.

Chet @ Waterland Canvas if you find yourself here in Chas, by the fairgrounds does great work.
He's done 6-7 boats for me over the years...from center consoles/expresses to custom fly bridge work.

I’ve used Sharps in Georgetown and recommend them. Guys from Midland Canvas in Lexington came and talked to our fishing club last week, seemed like they make a quality product.

Thank you for the input thus far!

    NEXT QUESTION -
Strata glass or 30 Gauge Clear vinyl

I am thinking enclosure in Strata glass because they will "stay on the boat" and clear of the wings because the wings may be used 6 times a year.

Boat is stored in a shed, so UV is not an issue, scratch-resistance is.

    Thoughts?

Just picked it up from Atlantic Coast Canvas. Talk about under-promise and over deliver. They did it. Quality looks great - under budget and delivery. Highly recommend them.

When a man walks around in rattlesnake skinned loafers, you know he’s about to produce a quality product.
