I will give you a little advice , the more you defend these GW’s the worse it gets

Basically THEY FUCKED UP , no other way to put it. Sickens any of us law abiding citizens/hunters hearing them bragging about a “Career Case” and confiscating a guys truck on a case that does not exist AND is totally fabricated. Dude did nothing wrong and the courts will prove this and I am sure the state of SC will be writing that $600K check (if I am correct that is limits the State can be legally sued for )

I have always had the highest respect for LEO’s , and that will continue , but when this happens it really bothers me. And it really bothers me for one of them in that I know him and what he has dealt with for last few years in his personal life but still there is no way I can make any excuses for what happened here

Also I am an elected official and have seen employees really screw up and nothing I can do but keep my mouth shut (couple of them VERY bad issues ) and let everything go through proceedures and policy’s . And when policy and proceedures are not followed the employees suffer the consequences of their actions

I will say this though, I have learned a lot since 2012 regarding laws and how they are written but even though the intent was there the law did not finish up as originally intended . I am sure sometimes these get finalized after very long debate an do come out exactly as intended

Very valid argument here. Using night vision with an uncased rifle at night on property you don’t have permission falls under road hunting. If you’re riding around collecting dogs and that shotgun isn’t cased you’ll catch that charge every time.

Five Oh is good people
There are a whole lot of great LEO out there, I hang out hunt and fish and are neighbors with a few, including SLED guys too.
All that I have sent this video too were appalled by it.
Defending this stop and arrest is just absurd

And I do hope in the end it works out ok for these officers and lessons are learned and corrected as well as they keep their careers. Anyone I know in LEO truly loves what they do and I appreciate that

A simple WE F’D UP and will learn from our mistakes goes a long way but I completely understand once the lawyers get involved that can not happen
