Funny you mention that...I got a brand new pair from Rogers after last season - breathable w/lining. Hung them up but when I went to use this this year I noticed a cut through the shin area. I don't have a clue how it happened to so I sewed it and covered the seam with Shoe Goo. It held for a time or two then developed another leak. I patched the second area inside and out, if they leak again they're going in the trash. My last pair of breathables from Bass Pros lasted more than 10 years.

Used about 4 times last year. Little leak started about 3rd use. Used them today for the first time and got soaked. Stupid. They had great reviews too. They have not been used hard either. Need a new pair that wont break the bank. What yall recommend
My Rogers breathable did the exact same thing this weekend, soaked! They are in the trash. I'm going back to Neoprene, likely Cabelas.

My brush tuffs made it a year and a half .... but I basically used them as briar britches for most of my hunts back then.

I'd be rolling sweat walking in those things.

I had a set of those Cabelas Alaskan neoprene, can't remember the amount of insulation in the boots.. those things were crazy warm. I do remember they were 5mm. I was heading out to hunt Mexico and those were my only set that didn't have a leak.. eons ago.

I ended up buying like the basic basic I believe lacrosse to take down there. They had zero protection. I didn't think it was a big deal until day two, and I began a crippling march to get to a small island to poop on... they were shredded, brush and thorns.. basically useless after that. Thankfully it was in the 70s until the day we left.

You could be shot by Sumter people and live in the cordura version of those waders...

Haha. I was actually peppered twice in one morning in those things, didn't feel much. I dropped my face when I saw the barrels flashing through the ringnecks
