    No, BBWD are late nesters and of course summerducks are early nesters.
    There is zero competition for cavaties and I beleive the BBWD will produce multiple clutches if possible.
    Last year, I saw BBWD clutches after Helene that had just hatched and a clutch that was not large enough to fly yet in mid November.

    Very interesting...My general understanding is there was no overlap in nest period.
    It could be slightly different here in the LC but it wouldn't be much.
