    Default Murray Country

Anyone been striper fishing on Murray lately? Have the fish started the transition yet? I miss the place, may get to go around turkey day.

I was out last Saturday hoping to find some topwater fish. It sucked. High pressure and 1,000 bass boats running everywhere.

Guides are catching trolling planer boards with live bait.

Thanks dude, I grew up chasing them on top water. I do love to see one molly whack a 12" gizzard behind a planer board though.

You way up the lake, or down around the forks of da rivas?

Holler at me when you get back down. Fish should be on fire in front of the house and into the river

Fish are scattered mainly from Bomb Island up. I've been pulling boards lately with herring and catching double digit numbers as the fish are fairly shallow 20-40ft off channels and/or around the edges of points/drop offs. Good size fish as well. Schooling is still going on from twin islands up and around Dreher Island/Crystal Lake. Water temps are cooling off and will continue to push fish further up the lake. Holler at me if I can help (Lakeside Guide Service)

Big Mans or Riverwinds. If you just hell bent on putting it in you can put it in at the house

Hit me up if you come back in Feb-April, that's when I'm picking them off points and rip rap in 2'-5' of water on artificial. I don't fool with live bait but Dox can hook you up for sure! November - January is for killing ducks.
