80-20 Genaration
I'm counting down the days.
Switched to Victory Rip tko 300s this year. 486 grains total arrow weight tipped with a 125 gr Iron Will Wide.
The bottom limbs on my Lift have begun to splinter so I have to get them replaced before the season.
i'm excited
for y'all
and to see the kill pics.
I'm just surprised D fletches one arrow at a time. I got a bitzenburger somewhere if you want it...
Ugh. Stupid people piss me off.
I am, might sling some this evening if it cools down some. Went with a new arrow set-up last year that worked pretty well. Shooting 4mm Easton Axis. I think it came out to be about 413 with a 100 grain Megameat up front. I might drop back to a 1.75” Deadmeat this year or go the single bevel route. I only shoot 60 pounds because of my shoulder so that kinda limits what i can do.

No matter if it’s pistols, pussies, pistons or pocket knives, it needs lubrication!
Just picked my bow up last week from getting a new sting and cable set, tuned, and some more arrows made.
I’ll hunt with it for two weeks and then put it back up for another 10mo.
Oh i know it will but the lighter pounds is why im running such a light arrow set-up.

Just getting back into it. Didn’t put in the time to practice last year so I did not bow hunt. Have been already this year. The Hoyt Alpha Max I purchased from someone on ScDucks. Using the RIP TKO with 100 g tips and an HHA single pin. Hit a few dots at 60. Gonna keep slinging some arrows. Only lost one so far.
“Duck hunting gives a man a chance to see the loneliest places …blinds washed by a rolling surf, blue and gold autumn marshes, …a rice field in the rain, flooded pin-oak forests or any remote river delta. In duck hunting the scene is as important as the shooting.” ~ Erwin Bauer, The Duck Hunter’s Bible, 1965
Yeah thru both shoulders
