I gotta disagree with Mergie about the cut bait. They are excellent for cats... For me anyway.

What perch I don't eat or use for bait, I have been burying in the garden next to plants for fertilizer.

They are actually illegal to return to the water in some states. A WP has a bad day if he swings over into my boat.

That is the best place for them!

They have taken over Wateree. They are good to put a first timer on though. I carried my gf and her friends fishing the other weekend and they were just as happy catching WP as I would have been a "real fish". It didn't matter to them and it was 1 of the girls first time fishing so she had a blast.
