    i use homemade wooden climbers (balsa for light weight advantage). I put em together with 8 penny nails and dont hammer them in all the way so that the braces will swivel.

    Who ya tryin' to fool, 2th? Ya know good and damn well your climber is wood with caribiners for back-up. And I'd say your belay lines are a bit too touchy for beginners. Just make sure your rapid descender is set for top-weight, you aint exactly been sweatin to the oldies lately.
