Noticed that bass pro and cabelas are not showing the normal sized nikon monarch scopes in their regular scope lineup. Are the monarchs being taken out of production?

Have been seriously looking into the 3.5-10x50 monarch and am now worried that they might be no more.

Any of you use this scope? Anyone ever had to use the warranty? Few gun shops pushed the monarchs over the vari x III last year and was wanting to hear some first hand accounts of the monarchs.

    Thanks!

The sale makes it look like closeout items, thats why I was wondering if they are going away. Just a personal preference, but the best deal is the 50mm gloss finish. I just prefered the matte for my gun.

They are really good and I have also heard them compared VxIIIs.

I'm on my second 3.5-10x 50mm Monarch and I really like them. They also have excellent customer service.

The Monarch line is changing a little. That is all. Good deals can be found right now (actually getting a little late). Check out riflescopes.com
If it ain\'t accurate at long distance, then the fact that it is flat shooting is meaningless.
