Because he besmirched a reputable business on the web over something that was either a simple misunderstanding on the store's part or his own mistake.

An apology was in order by the original poster, not a defense of bad grammar. We've all taken shit for things we've posted here when we were in the wrong. Adults take ownership over their assholery, learn from it, and move on. Kids never do.
