Looks like a fun gun. Saw some deer dropped with slugs up in Iowa, since then I’ve wondered why more people who want a brush gun don’t go this route. Never had to track a single deer hit with a slug in my time up there; either dropped in their tracks or made it maybe 20 yards.

Went to put new batteries in a camera yesterday and within 20 ft of the camera there are two fresh scrapes. Hopefully we will get one this week.

They are still with does in Chester. If you got does that still ain't been bred then this could last till February

I wish they would shift the season 1 month or let go until the end of January.

Same. I've got a buck I could kill if he would leave the does alone. These upstate deer breed and chase from late September till February and it can be feast or famine

Them that don't know him won't like him, and them that do sometimes won't know how to take him

He ain't wrong, he's just different, and his pride won't let him do things to make you think he's right

Ground blind in the corner of a bean field. Not a suitable tree within 100 yards to hang a stand in. I watched these 2 for 15 minutes hoping the big one that was with them the evening before would show. Pretty neat being on ground level at that range. F38E08AA-F5B4-4ECE-8422-F47E4FD8746B.jpg

Man and other animals were first vegetarians; then Noah and his sons were given permission to eat meat: “every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you” Genesis 9:3

"A man may not care for golf and still be human, but the man who does not like to see, hunt, photograph or otherwise outwit birds or animals is hardly normal. He is supercivilized, and I for one do not know how to deal with him." Aldo Leopold
