That stand sits against short pines and looks down a power line and logging road. It is replacing a tripod that has been VEEEERY productive.

I gotcha Stripa.
All of our tower stands have 1/4" cable attached to bent rebar imbedded in concrete to help keep them stable. We might get hurt, but it won't be from the stand falling over.

Notice there are 2 adults and an 11yr. old in that stand. The stands are 4' square and will be painted to seal out the elements.
Catdaddy, he'll be a nice one in another year.
