Does anybody else use this stuff. I planted it and the deer don't seem to even walk through it. I know there are alot of acorns, but damn they are eating the corn. They are in the other food plots pretty good. They eat the hell out of the majic carpet. Mayby they just haven't tasted it yet!

One of our two plots of the stuff is getting hammered, while the other does not seem to have near the traffic. The second Plot is in the midst of a freshly thinned pine stand, so we had kinda chalked it up to lack of cover. They seem to only come in there at night.

    Slaya,

What is in the winter mix? I don't see it on the Wannamaker website.

Winter Peas and Blue Lupine (looks like Marijuana, except 5 leafs). The winter peas have done well in the past out there. The summer mix made peas and beans, but has now been reduced to bare stalks-the deer ate every leaf, bean or pea off the plants. The naked oats are doing well and drawing lots of does. It is past time to replant those plots, but duck season is nigh!
