    False alarm on mine. It was my trotline tag, licenses, and shrimp tags.

    per DNR facebook page.

    The lottery for the alligator draw hunts has NOT been completed, but DNR expects to send notification to the 1200 successful applicants by mail later this week. The remaining 6000+ unsuccessful applicants will also be notified next week through the mail. No results will be announced via the phone. More about the gator hunts at http://www.dnr.sc.gov/wildlife/alligator/index.html

    The first 3 years only 3000 or so put in then last year it jumped to 6500. I figured it would fall back down to 3000 again.

    7,200 applicant x $10/applicant= $72,000

    1,200 tags x $100/tag= $120,000

    Total= $192,000

    (I know, hooray me, I can do simple math.)

    Gator hunting in SC brings some serious coin through the DNR.
