    Default Lost dog!

I was out night fishing in the Cooper river tonight and was heading back to cypress garden boat ramp around 11 pm. I was cutting through the trussel rice field and when I entered Durham creek found a small terrier swimming in the middle of the river. She was a pretty good distance from any homes. If anyone is missing or knows anyone who is missing this dog please email me at chasbjj@ yahoo.com. I'll be taking her to the SPCA on Monday.

don't pick up a dog if you're going to take it to SPCA after 2 days.

I think what he is saying is taking it to the SPCA is the same thing as leaving it in the middle of the river...he is mostly likely gonna die either way, but u never know.

Have you tried to have it scanned? It might be chipped.

Ding ding! Also before taking it to the SPCA (if owner isn't found) try a craigslist add or something to try and find a home.

Found the owner! My hunch paid off, I figured the dog came from rice hope plantation off of hwy 402. Rode out there this morning and asked around until I found the owner.

Speaking of gator bait, the roommate of a guy at work found out today his golden was eaten by a gator at a local golf course pond. A guy apparently witnessed it and saw the flyer a few days after and made the call. Long story short, the other roommate accidentally left the gate open, then later that night they let dogs out. Dog decided to take a tour of the neighborhood which ended with a swim. Rough day for him. Please watch your animals and check gates even when you think they're closed.

Delta in a nutshell: Breeding grounds + small wetlands + big blocks of grass cover + predator removal + nesting structures + enough money to do the job= plenty of ducks to keep everyone smiling!
