“… duckhunting stands alone as an outdoor discipline. It has a tang and spirit shared by no other sport—a philosophy compounded of sleet, the winnow of unseen wings, and the reeks of marsh mud and wet wool. No other sport has so many theories, legends, casehardened disciples and treasured memories.”

I bet more people use plain earthy colors and then a GOOD BLIND than you dumbasses realize.

A few times when I could not get off work early I went straight from work to the deer stand. I never saw any nice deer though, guess the gunbelt getting hung up in the climber making lots of noise and the sun reflecting off the silver kinda looked like a neon sign screaming for the deer to run away.
I would rather be dressed in camo.

I think camo is like a good fishing lure. If you feel confident with a lure you will use it longer. If you feel confident with your camo set-up you might just sit a little longer and see that late strolling buck.
He would have been nice next year.

More important than the type camo you use is to MAKE SURE that you cover your face and hands.
If it ain\'t accurate at long distance, then the fact that it is flat shooting is meaningless.

I hardly ever wear camo while deer hunting. Just plain old "earthy" colors. However, I do believe in a good face mask and gloves.

The secret to success lies in dog fennel, and climber, a 117 grain SST, a thermacell, and the desire to shoot every doe you can.

Camo for deer or turkeys? Not necessary. A pair of khakis and a green or brown shirt will do the trick...

I wear a camo t-shirt & hat, shorts & boat shoes. The camo t shirt is so I don't mess up something else! THERMACELL is a MUST. Keep my snake boots & long pants in the truck, just in case I shoot one and it doesn't drop right there.
