Anybody ever burn mature browntop strips in a dove field? Does it destroy the seed? Does it open a heavy broadcast stand up enough for doves to use it?

If it gets too hot it tends to burn the seed up, but if you cant get a good slow burn it works well.

Let's try this one more time. Anybody have good luck with doves after burning a browntop field - or strips of the field? How long do you burn before you have your shoot?

The years I plant BTM I cut it and burn it two weeks before the season. It works great.
