    Default Trout Bite on FIRE

Had a great trip yesterday with some guys throwing artificials and some live bait for trout. Caught 30 or so trout all on the falling water. Some on Doa's about 3 ft under a cork and the others on mud minnows under a cork or on an 1/8th ounce jighead. I am very happy to see the trout numbers and size that I am seeing this year. The guy in the second pic was a riot. I gave him one of my camo dipped rods to fished with and he would not put it down all day. He was convinced that was why he was catching fish. Every time he hooked a fish he said, "thats right, you never saw me coming did you". It was quite comical.

Took a writer from SC Sportsman Magazine today up to Bulls Bay to do a story and the bite was awesome. We sat at the ramp waiting for the weather to give us a window and boy did we capitalize on it. We fished from 8 to 11 and whacked the trout, lost count. Probably 40 to 50 fish, with some REAL nice ones in the mix. All caught on a DOA under a cork on the falling tide. He took a bunch of pics, I will post some when i get them.

If you want to get in on some awesome trout fishing the time is upon us.
