When you "sync" it just make sure homeshare is on and tell it to sync apps, songs, etc. you can check what you want and don't want. App wise, I recommend the bible, a outlook weather, diesel/ eth free finder, photobucket(easier than CPU), and droid light (or any other light)

Get an otter box or lifeproof case, or you will probably be doing this more than once.

My Radar App. I use it all the time when on the water. Open it, and it automatically zooms to your location and loops the radar.

Flashlight App has come in handy a few times.

    Both are free.

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

at least it keeps saying "cant connect to cellular network" but i can use the internet in my office or house with WiFi. so...what DO i have?

    This.

It cost about 10 bucks if I remember right but i've found it very useful on the water.

Edit- if you don't have a data plan, this and a alot of other apps will be pretty useless.

I use google maps more than anything - but I don't know if they have anything for iPhones. Rhapsody music - but it's a subscription and if you already have iTunes, I would stick with that. GPS Essentials has been handy. Bible app as well.

Whether you have a Droid, and iPhone, or any other "smart" phone... if you don't have a data plan and have Internet access, you won't be able to scratch the surface of what apps can do for you.
