5/11/12 "60 Dolphin"

Went out with an old buddy on Friday and had a day to remember. It was like glass when we got out there. Starting trolling looking for temp changes and picked up a few nice fish.
Then a little ways off we could see what looked to be a good weedline, so we worked our way toward it. Turned out to be a really nice line, and we proceeded to haul in fish the rest of the day. Trolling and stopping to cast with the lighter stuff when the fish were swarming all around the boat.
Ended up running out of ballyhoo, but it didn't stop us from putting 60 in the box. First time I'd been out in a while...what a day!!

I caught a 40 lb cobia Friday, with one getting off the line and another broke 60lb test like butter.

You got that right BOG. Can't say otherwise about that boy! You guys will have a great time. He and Tom are both great to fish with...we would have really enjoyed it even if we hadn't caught that many fish. It had been Years since I'd seen him.

28'......And it was definitely bumpy on the way back in. Slick on the way out in the morning and alot faster trip obviously. We caught some spray on the way back in. Hope you guys had a good day.
