Default Carolina Aero Marine Adventures TATER Style

Caught 40 or 50 trout today on artificials by 9am. Had a charter cancel last minute so I called up a buddy and said let's go. We are on a mission. We had 2 fish under 14 inches, the rest were between 15 and 22. Most fish caught on DOA shrimp under a popping cork on the falling tide. I now have at least 8-10 good trout dinners for the next few months.

    Daddy's in B'fort now.

It's "spring cleaning time", so I doubt he'll be on the water much.

I wish I could head your way in the am, but work's got me tied up for a while.

    Kill 'em without me, cuz.

I wouldn't let the abundance of this springs breeders lull me into thinking that 2 hard winters have in one season rebounded the population...

I catch a lot of trout each year and whether the population is at a high or a low I go out once in the spring and once in the fall and kill a limit of fish each time. That gives me enough trout to enjoy the amount of meals of trout I want to.

So in the grand scheme of things me and the babies have a pretty good understanding with each other. I pitty the ones on the two harvest days each year though.
