    Default Flounder 4/28

Fished a tournament in Murrells Inlet yesterday morning just for the fun of it. First line hit the water at 6am on the dot, with the first fish being pulled in at 6:10. The bite was steady the first 4 hours of the trip but seemed to just completely stop the last 4 hours. Ended up keeping 5 and throwing back 3. My biggest was 22" and 3.3lbs. Good enough to take 3rd, and being beat by a little less than a pound. Also, caught my first tagged flounder. Thanks to those 2 fish, it was a $1200 payday for me. I'll take it.

    Here's a couple.

Congrats on the tournament placement! I caught a tagged flounder in Sunset Beach a few years back that was tagged by UNCW marine biology. Tag was in the tail area though and connected through the tail.
    Hard to tell not knowing....
