New laptops...

In the near future (as soon as I get some hunt club dues paid), I will be in the market for a new laptop. What I am looking for is:

• PC (not a Mac)
• 15 inch high res (HD?) display
• At least an I5 processor
• At least 750 GB HD
• At least 6 GB, preferrably more, RAM....
• Enough cojones to do video editting
• RELIABLE
• Decent battery life
• Bluetooth

Good, but not REQUIRED....

• Iluminated keyboard
• Good sound system
• Blue Ray playable drive

I will be using this for entertainment, small business, running PowerPoint files on a projector, crunching videos to DVD.

I've been looking at Dell computers, because I can finance part of the purchase. I want this to last a while. To that end, I was looking at the XPS series and the Inspirons... I like the speaker placement on the XPS.

Any other input/brands?

Anybody using their laptop on a Verizon mobile data plan that can tell me what that tends to run each month?

Sounds like the exact same one I bought for home use not long ago. It was a Dell for something like $500-$600.00. Please so far with it. I got it at Best Buy.

HP has been having a sale on their Core i5 systems. My wife has been happy with her similar model this past year.
