    Default 20,000 Carp

My dad and I put in at Blount's Landing this morning to do some bass fishing. We worked the shallows and I saw more carp than I have ever seen before! Then when we got back to the landing. The man in the store told us Santee Cooper was coming today to release 10,000 carp there and at Spiers! God only knows where else! He said DNR backed out on the deal, but Santee Cooper was still going to release them. Like I said, there were more out there this morning than I have ever seen! Every flat from Blount's to Bell's. Do we really need 20,000 more??

the common carp are spawning HARD right now. as hard as ive ever seen . more than likely 95% of the ones you seen up in the shallows were common carp and not grass carp. grass carp are the only ones released by dnr or santee cooper.....

and yall dont worry. i will have some pics for yall monday. we are having a numbers bowfishing tournament this weekend on the lake and i guarantee you we will put a hurtin on some carp. literally thousands of common carp will die. literally
