    M Heitmeyer has an interesting yet technical series of articles that cover everything from AHM to spinning wing decoys.

    I have enjoyed his series and agree with a good bit of his writings. Some of the postings at Madduck are a bit alarmist and reactionary but if they don't make you THINK then you don't have a brain. Thanks SSL!

    I agree on Madduck but knew Heitmeyer years ago and know him as an astute biologist and avid waterfowler. His point on superhens could be more important than any body realizes and with some discipline, something we can all learn to practice.

    I can only point to the albino hen mallard that we had at Two Rivers for more than a decade. Before each hunt we told everyone not to shoot her and although a true trophy, she was passed up once or twice each season. How many did she bring back with her...
